First Christian Church Ventura has been serving our beautiful seaside community since 1895. We were originally located in downtown Ventura, before moving to our present location on the east side of town in 1961.
We are affliated with the Disciples of Christ, a denomination that now counts about 700,000 members in the U.S. and Canada in about 3,700 congregations.
We have several groups that meet here, including two active women's groups (Next Generation & Disciple Women) and one of the oldest Boy Scout troops in the area, Troop #103, whom we've sponsored since 1927 (please see the "Contacts & Links" page for more information on some of the groups who call FCC "home").
We also have Children's Haven and The Haven on site. These two programs provide excellent before and after school programs for children from Kindergarten-8th grade). New enrollments are always being accepted.
